King of All Bridges update!
This is a write up from the Autism Project of RI:
Kudos to Brian Boog and www.NewEnglandFishing.net for organizing our first fishing tournament on June 22, 2008 at the Turner Reservoir in East Providence. Because of their generosity we were able to raise an additional $2657.32 to support our programs. Thanks also to the many volunteers and local businesses that helped make this event a great success. BassinRN has put together another amazing event happening August 17th at Mashpee-Wakeby. He is looking for a few more boaters. Lets help out and make this event a HUGE success.

The Swimabait Raffle winner for Cancer Research is.....TBASS!!!
"NEF member Tbass (Joe Roy) from RI won the raffle. The total cash value of all the merchandise was around $1300.00 without the guided fishing trip. Joe says that "We're going tuna fishing". I'm really looking forward to it. I'll post the video of the drawing as soon as I get a chance to edit/upload it. Thanks to all that bought tickets. This raffle raised about $3000 for my PMC fundraising campaign. Can't thank you guys enough!!"

Charity Tourney for the Autism Project of RI Where: Turner Res. East Providence RI
When: Sunday, June 22nd 2008
Time: 6am-2pm
How Much: $100.00 per boat (Includes Lunker Pool)

NEF member BOOG has started something great here! He is running this charity event for the Autism Project of RI. The tournament will have a 20 boat field - ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED!!! After the tournament there will be a cookout at BOOG's house right down the street from Turner Res. $500 will go to the Autism Project of RI in the name of NewEnglandFishing.net. We are also taking cash donations and having a raffle to raise as much as we can. Check out the awesome tackle that has been donated so far for the raffle! Raffle Donations! Grudge Match 2008 - Battle to be #1 in New England
